Following his subjects on their journeys towards love, adventure and discovery, he revives the emotive documentary photography of Life Magazine with a painterly twist. In addition to his fine art work and commissions, Karl has worked as a staff photographer for the Calgary Fire Department and offered photo reportage for a number of award ceremonies and charitable events.
